Lighting Control Systems

Wireless
In the last decade I have scene growth in commercial wireless lighting control systems, the world leading system I have been working with over the last few years is Casambi.
Casambi wireless lighting control has grown from small beginnings in Finland in 2010, when two ex Nokia engineers designed a system initialising blue-tooth technology as Bluetooth connections have a very robust interference free connections, the Casambi devices connect together using a low energy blue-tooth mesh network. I have never encountered any form of network interference issues with this system, even in some pretty harsh industrial involvements. Casambi make the core lighting control chip sets, firmware and software the rest of the products are made be third party vendors, this is seeing some very innovative products being available now.To name few recently been released

Solar powered PIR's – that charge from reflected artificial light
Battery and wireless switches utilising piso electric technology
Battery switches – 5 year batteries (typical use)

Dali & Dali 2
DALI-Digital Addressable Lighting Interface. It is a lighting interface system that allows lighting to use a digital signal for more precise and flexible control.
It is the most widely installed lighting copy system in New Zealand
Dali is a standard and is not specific to any branded manufactured

DALI is an international standard ( IEC 62386) for lighting communication, which means that all components of a lighting system marked with the DALI logo, even from different manufacturers, can work with one another. This standard was created to ensure compatibility and interchangeability across lighting systems in the industry.
Dali2 As per the original DALI standard but to be DALI 2 all designed product models must be be sent to one of a small number of approved testing laboratory to confirm that they met the Dali standard before they can sell as a Dali 2 device

C-Bus

C-Bus is a microprocessor base control system. It's an electronic lighting system that permits the light
switches to be programmed to perform a range of functions.
With C-Bus...240 volt electrical current does not flow to the light switch.
Conventional electrical light switches permanently control particular light circuits however with C-Bus
this is not the case.
With C-Bus there is no such thing as two (2) way light switches. C-Bus buttons are totally programmable
and as such you are virtually free to change your mind and have the a button re-programmed.

Many other features available with this system and can be integrated with 3rd party devices
Scalable from 2 - 100's of devices

PDL Wiser Home

PDL Wiser is a flexible, automated smart home solution that lets the homeowner control their home with the intuitive Wiser by SE app, setting up their own automatons and moments as they decide to add them over time.

KNX
KNX system is a bus system consisting of sensors and actuators for room and building automation. With KNX technology, multiple building management disciplines can be implemented for controlling lighting systems, window shades, and room climate control.
KNX offers much of the the same functionality as DALI systems but without the need to individually address each Light fixture meaning a huge cost saving from the absence of specialist ballasts per fitting and labour to address same
Hager
System has not been manufactured for 12 years however a limited number of spare components are still available, or some electronic components can be repaired in Australia. If you one off these systems it can be up graded to an KNX control system
